Int’l Friendly 1/4/2009: Portugal vs South Africa

Posted by yaditya On March - 31 - 2009

Portugal

Carlos Queiroz will have little option but to field his best combination against Bafana as he badly needs a morale-boosting win after their disappointing performance in the previous matches.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Danny who plays for Zenit St Petersburg, and Deco may be rested, but Quieroz could be tempted to field them in an attempt to get a morale boosting win. Jose Bosingwa is unavailable against South Africa.

Possible Starting XI: Eduardo, Carvalho, Duda, Alves, Rolando, Tiago, Pepe, Meireles, Maniche, Simao, Almeida.

South Africa

One would expect Bafana will change things around and Rowen Fernandez could get his chance in goal and Tshababala must surely be in with a shout of a place in the starting line up. A look at the striking options with Moriri and Mashego itching for a chance to show what they can do is another serious option.

Goalkeeper Rowen Fernandez may take over from Kaizer Chiefs’ Itumeleng Khune against Portugal. Midfielder Elrio van Heerden and Blackburn Rovers striker Benni McCarthy will not play tonight. There is also doubt surrounding Spanish-based central defender Nasief Morris, who picked up an injury at training last week and missed the Norway game on Saturday as a result.

Possible Starting XI: Fernandez, Booth, Gaxa, Masilela, Davids, Mokoena, Sibaya, Pienaar, Nkosi, Mashego, Parker.

7 Secrets To NEVER Losing in Sports Betting

Posted by yaditya On March - 31 - 2009

top-secret

Yes, you’re reading it right, you can always become a Winner no matter how bad your winning rate is, what sports you bet on, or what bookmakers you join.

Are you saying, “It’s IMPOSSIBLE!!” ??

Ok, here is the reality…

You may end up with some really bad losing strike one day. Every tipster, even the professional ones have their own terrible day when every single bets they placed are going to the wrong side. However, surprisingly, they still manage to collect some profits at the end of the day.

Here are the 7 secrets that will open your horizon in sports betting:

1. Knowledge is power!

Read the form statistics, past records, head to head, injury lists, team fixtures, psychological situation of the players or even tradition each team has. Analyse every single aspects of a team carefully before placing your bets and keep yourself updated with the latest news. That’s the key to successful betting. Sports Betting Champ has done all of the dirty statistics for you. They have spent untold hours of researches to present all of the required information for you… Now it’s your part to follow them and learn from them!

2. Keep your winning…

Once you hit your winning goal, cash them in! Do not be greedy! Withdraw your winnings before placing anymore bets is always a good idea. Enjoy your hard earned winnings! Don’t keep spending your winning money on subsequent bets just because it’s your luckiest day in your life. That will prevent you from losing some of them (if not ALL) back to the bookmakers.

3. Budgeting…

A good money management is important. Set your daily, weekly, monthly or even yearly budget, which is maximum amount of money you are prepared to lose. Take control of your finances and that will make your loses will not become a big problem because you have budgeted them in advance.

4. Avoid Difficult Bet…

Try to avoid such bets like “Man of the Match”, “First Goal Scorer”, “To Win Premier League”, “Exact Scores”, and some sort of things. You may say that the odds look really tempting, but, it’s almost impossible to grab a long-term winning with this kind of play.

5. Follow the game Closely…

Most of bookmakers offer what we call “In Running” or “Live” bets. That means, you can place bets whilst a match is in progress. Use this feature to make your bet a “risk free” bet.

See this example: You placed a $100 bet at -1/4 for a Chelsea to win over Liverpool. During the game, the odds change drastically and now the odds become -1/4 for Liverpool. This means, something is happening on the pitch which gives Liverpool a greater chance to win. With In-running bets, you can place an opposite bet to back up Liverpool.

With this simple example, you can NOT lose (even though you will also not win big), but the important point is you manage to save your $100 for a better match with higher winning chance.

6. Search for the Hottie!

This may lead a controversy for some of you, since looking for this ‘Hottie’ will make your betting life even more difficult. However, if you carefully follow your favourite sports or betting forum, you must be having an idea someone who currently has a fortune goddess walking around him. Bookie Buster and Sports Betting Champ are the hottest you can find! Their forms are absolutely amazing!

7. Finally… Engage A WINNING SYSTEM

The last one is the most important secret to make money at sports betting, you need a good system. Without a proven betting system, all of above points will become less usable and that means you can not maximise your winning. This is where Bookie Buster is specializing in. Bookie Buster’s system tells you exactly how to ALWAYS WIN in sports betting. Even with disappointing 33% winning rate (which means only 3 wins in 10 bets), you will end up with a huge profits in your bankroll! Something that you WILL NOT find in traditional betting system. Imagine how much you can win if you have a better soccer tipsters who can give you free tips to follow with, or you follow your favourite sports closely enough to consistently pick over 50% winners.

After reading the overall 7 secrets above, hopefully your approach to sports betting should be enormously improved. Combined with powerful knowledge that Sports Betting Champ provides and accurate strategies that Bookie Buster offers, you should NEVER lose any cents in sports betting anymore.

WC 2010 Qualifiers 30/3/2009: Peru vs Chile

Posted by yaditya On March - 29 - 2009

Peru
Peru find themselves rock-bottom of the South American World Cup qualifying group, and will need to claim the three points against Chile in order to remain with an outside chance of qualification. Jose ‘Chemo’ del Solar will be unable to count with the services of Hamburg striker Paulo Guerrero, who is suspended.

Chile
Chile are currently in an automatic qualifying position and have the chance to consolidate when they visit bottom side Peru, who have won just once in their 10 group matches.

Prediction
I expect this could be tight and will go for a draw.

My prediction: PERU +1/4

WC 2010 Qualifiers 29/3/2009: Netherlands vs Scotland

Posted by yaditya On March - 28 - 2009

hollandscotland

Netherlands

The Dutch will be strong favourites as they look to continue their early domination of the group by extending their 100% record. New trainer Bert van Marwijk has only won one friendly in four attempts, the last being a draw in Tunisia, so tonight’s game will be his biggest test so far.

Oranje are without Atletico Madrid defender John Heitinga, but Andre Ooijer has recovered from groin strain and is expected to play. Ryan Babel and Robin van Persie could start on the bench, depending on what the trainer decides is best.

Possible starting XI: Stekelenburg; Marcellis, Ooijer, Mathijsen, Van Bronckhorst; De Jong, Van Bommel; Kuyt, Van der Vaart, Robben; Huntelaar.

Scotland

Scotland were desperately unlucky not to qualify for Euro 2008 and are capable of raising their game against the big names. They will certainly need to on Saturday as the race for 2nd place in the group will remain wide open for some time.

The Scots were already without James McFadden, Shaun Maloney and Barry Robson. Now, Stephen McManus, Paul Hartley, David Weir, Kirk Broadfoot and Kris Commons have joined them, while Alan Hutton won’t be risked after a long lay-off.

Rangers’ Allan McGregor will start in goal instead of regular goalkeeper Craig Gordon, who’s struggling at Sunderland. Christophe Berra is likely to make his first start at centre-back, with full-back Steven Whittaker, also tipped to feature.

The midfield remains relatively strong. Skipper Barry Ferguson is likely to be joined by Scott Brown and Darren Fletcher as the Scots try to win their battles in the key area. Cardiff City’s Ross McCormack is a gamble which many are tipping Burley to take.

Possible Starting XI: McGregor; Whittaker, Caldwell, Berra, Naysmith; McCormack, Ferguson, Brown, Fletcher, Morrison; Miller.

WC 2010 Qualifiers 29/3/2009: Montenegro vs Italy

Posted by Go Tipsters Admin On March - 28 - 2009

montenegro italy

Montenegro

Montenegro managed two draws and a defeat, to sit in fourth position in Group 8. They will need to attain at least a result from this contest against the world champions to ensure that they give themselves half a chance of qualifying for next year’s World Cup.

First-choice central defenders Jovan Tanasijevic and Radoslav Batak will come back into the side. Roma striker Mirko Vucinic is suspended. Fiorentina frontman Stevan Jovetic hopefull can use all his experience picked up in the Italian Serie A to plot the downfall of the Italians. Rapid Bucharest’s Vladimir Bozovic, Sporting Lisbon’s Simon Vukcevic and Rapid Vienna’s Branko Boskovic will all be influential figures in midfield.

Squad

Goalkeepers: Vukasin Poleksic (Debrecen), Mladen Bozovic (Partizan Belgrade)

Defenders: Savo Pavicevic (Energie Cottbus), Miodrag Dzudovic (Spartak Nalchik), Jovan Tanasijevic (Dynamo Moscow), Radoslav Batak (Anakaraspor), Dejan Ognjanovic (LKS Lodz), Marko Basa (Lokomotiv Moscow), Luka Pejovic (Mogren Budva), Elsad Zverotic (Luzerne)

Midfielders: Vladimir Bozovic (Rapid Bucharest), Mitar Novakovic (Amkar Perm), Milorad Pekovic (Meinz), Nikola Drincic (Amkar), Branko Boskovic (Rapid Vienna), Ivan Delic (Buducnost Podgorica), Simon Vukcevic (Sporting Lisbon)

Forwards: Stevan Jovetic (Fiorentina), Mirko Vucinic (AS Roma), Nikola Vujovic (Partizan Belgrade), Radomir Djalovic (Rapid Bucharest), Fatos Beciraj (Buducnost Podgorica)

Possible Starting XI: Poleksic; Basa, Tanasijevic, Batak, Pejovic; Vukcevic, Boskovic, Bozovic, Drincic; Jovetic, Djalovic.

Italy

Italy will bid to go one better than the 0-0 draw their rivals Ireland achieved on their visit to Montenegro. The Italians needed a last minute goal to win in Cyprus and struggled to a 2-1 home win over Saturday’s opponents so it may not be as straight forward as the betting suggests. The Azzurri have played four qualifiers thus far in Group 8, which they currently top with 10 points recorded. Having said this though, goal difference is all that separates them from the second-placed Ireland, who they will face next week. Three points against the Montenegrins will be absolutely crucial to their cause of topping this group.

The likes of Gennaro Gattuso, Simone Perrotta, Luca Toni and Alberto Gilardino are all struggling with injury, whilst Del Piero and Cassano were snubbed by Lippi yet again. With a lack of experience up front for the Azzurri, it will be interesting to see who lines up in attack, as Vincenzo Iaquinta looks to be the frontrunner at present to head the frontline.

Squad

Goalkeepers: Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus), Marco Amelia (Palermo), Morgan De Sanctis (Galatasaray)

Defenders: Salvatore Bocchetti (Genoa), Fabio Cannavaro (Real Madrid), Giorgio Chiellini (Juventus), Andrea Dossena (Liverpool), Alessandro Gamberini (Fiorentina), Fabio Grosso (Olympique Lyon), Marco Motta (Roma), Gianluca Zambrotta (Milan)

Midfielders: Matteo Brighi (Roma), Daniele De Rossi (Roma), Pasquale Foggia (Lazio), Riccardo Montolivo (Fiorentina), Angelo Palombo (Sampdoria), Simone Pepe (Udinese), Andrea Pirlo (Milan)

Forwards: Antonio Di Natale (Udinese), Vincenzo Iaquinta (Juventus), Giampaolo Pazzini (Sampdoria), Fabio Quagliarella (Udinese), Giuseppe Rossi (Villarreal)

Possible Starting XI: Buffon; Zambrotta, Cannavaro, Chiellini, Grosso; De Rossi, Pirlo, Palombo; Di Natale, Quagliarella; Iaquinta.

Form Guide

Montenegro
November 19 v Macedonia (H)     WON 2-1
October 15 v Italy (A)                 LOST 1-2
September 10 v Ireland (H)          DREW 0-0
September 6 v Bulgaria (H)          DREW 2-2
August 20 v Hungary (A)             DREW 3-3

Italy
February 10 v Brazil (N)              LOST 0-2
November 19 v Greece (A)          DREW 1-1
October 15 v Montenegro (H)      WON 2-1
October 11 v Bulgaria (A)            DREW 0-0
September 10 v Georgia (H)         WON 2-0

Prediction

Obviously the Italians are without several key players for the qualifier; however, they are the reigning world champions, meaning that they should be able to edge out strong competition from the new boys of world football.

My prediction:ITALY -3/4

WC 2010 Qualifiers 29/3/2009: Spain vs Turkey

Posted by yaditya On March - 28 - 2009

spain turkey

Spain

The European Champions have been foot perfect so far and have now won 18 of their last 19 games, the exception being in the European Championships when the drew with Italy, but won on penalties. Not since November 2006 have La Furia Roja been on the receiving end of defeat, meaning that they have gone a remarkable 29 games unbeaten.

Andres Iniesta is out of action due to injury, while Francesc Fabregas remains sidelined as well. Typically the Furia Roja operate with a four man defence, but what’s ahead of that is anyone’s guess: Marcos Senna could play in a holding role behind a four-man inventive force and a forward, or David Villa could partner Fernando Torres up front.

Probable Starting XI: Casillas; Sergio Ramos, Marchena, Albiol, Capdevila; Marcos Senna; Cazorla, Xabi Alonso, Xavi, Silva; Villa.

Turkey

The Turks look to be in a battle with Belgium and Bosnia for a play off spot and they will be kicking themselves for being held 0-0 in Estonia in their last qualifier. They can be a dangerous side on their day and though it’s almost impossible to oppose Spain in recent times, the Turks may make a decent game of it.

Servet Cetin is absent in central defence. Halil Altintop, Yildiray Basturk, Selcuk Sahin and Gokhan Zan are all out too.

Probable Starting XI:
Demirel; Sarioglu, Kas, Emre Asik, Balta; Turan, Mehmet Aurelio, Akman, Tuncay Sanli; Senturk, Nihat.

Form Guide

Spain

11 Feb 09 England (H) WON 2-0 (Friendly)
19 Nov 08 Chile (H) WON 3-0 (Friendly)
15 Oct 08 Belgium (A) WON 2-1 (WCQ)
11 Oct 08 Estonia (A) WON 3-0 (WCQ)
10 Sep 08 Armenia (H) WON 4-0 (WCQ)

Turkey

11 Feb 09 Ivory Coast (H) DREW 1-1 (Friendly)
19 Nov 08 Austria (A) WON 4-2 (Friendly)
15 Oct 08 Estonia (A) DREW 0-0 (WCQ)
11 Oct 08 Bosnia (H) WON 2-1 (WCQ)
10 Sep 08 Belgium (H) DREW 1-1 (WCQ)

Prediction

Spain are favourites to overcome Turkey, but with key playmaker Andres Iniesta absent, anything can happen…

My prediction: SPAIN +1 1/4
