Manchester United

Red Devils are unbeaten in the Champions League in 21 matches and also unbeaten at home in the past three seasons in this tournament, winning 14 of 16 matches, with 7 wins from 7 in the knock-out stages.

Porto

Porto returned to the top of Liga Sagres and are now four points clear at the top, which should guarantee them another league title. Moreover, their performances in Europe are also very promising and they are not without chances in this clash. Porto won the last three games in all competitions and they enter this match on a high. But remember, Porto have lost all nine matches on the road to top eight opponents since 1997/98 without Jose Mourinho.

Team News

Nemanja Vidic, Wayne Rooney and Paul Scholes will all return after their absence in last weekend EPL match. Rio Ferdinand, Anderson and Dimitar Berbatov are still out, whilst long term absentees Wes Brown, Rafael and Owen Hargreaves remain on the sidelines.

For Porto, Argentine Lisandro Lopez returns for Porto after sitting out the game with Guimares through suspension. Fellow South American Freddy Guarin, will also make the trip to Manchester. Romanian Christian Sapunaru is in doubt, while captain Pedro Emanuel, Nelson Benitez and Jorge Fucile remain on the treatment table.

Prediction

Although United are odds-on favourites to reach a third successive semi-final, narrow win for them is good enough to keep their hope for another Champions League crown alive.

My prediction: PORTO +1.5 & UNDER 2.5 @ BetUs
