Real Madrid
Real need to beat Valladolid to keep their La Liga title chances alive, remembering that Barcelona will likely to beat Huelva at Camp Nou. Note that Valladolid have beaten Madrid early this season that later saw coach Schuster get sacked.

Just as it was last season, Valladolid have again been extremely inconsistent this campaign in terms of results, but amazingly, they have pretty much set up camp at mid-table since November.
A series of impressive wins would always be accompanied by a succession of defeats, but in the last four and a half months, they have not hovered any higher than eighth or dipped any lower than 12th in the standings. They are nine points clear of the drop zone and eventhough they look unlikely to challenge for European places, they have still managed to improve significantly from last term, when they only just escaped demotion by three points.
Coach, Jose Luis Mendilibar, will be pleased with the way this season has unfolded and if they can stay the course, they should easily finish inside the top ten. After next weekend’s clash against Villarreal, Los Blanquivioletas will have a very straightforward jog down the home stretch. They will have only one more opponent currently above them in the standings (Deportivo La Coruna) while the rest are in the bottom half of the ladder. However, that doesn’t mean that the players can start planning their summer holidays as the survival strugglers could prove to be extra dangerous.
