Liverpool and Chelsea will look ahead to yet another clash in the Champions League after two wins for the Reds in EPL this season. This is the 9th time in four years, for the 5th season in a row, the first leg taking place at Anfield. Their meetings over the previous 4 years have featured less than 3 goals.
Liverpool
Liverpool have not been beaten by Chelsea at Anfield in their Champions League encounters. Moreover, Liverpool has beaten Chelsea in the domestic league this season twice home and away. They are in excellent form now and this should be enough to outclass Chelsea once again to advance to semi final.
Chelsea
Chelsea have won only once in nine matches on away game in this competition against top six teams. The Blues have also failed to win away to any opposition in this competition in seven attempts since the start of 2008. Worryingly for Blues fans, since their victory at Highbury five years ago, Chelsea have lost half of their 12 Champions League knock-out matches away, and won just once.

Team News
Lucas Leiva will start in midfield replacing Javier Mascherano. Albert Riera is available and Daniel Agger has recovered from a back injury. Yossi Benayoun is also fit again, as he proved when he came off the bench at Fulham to blast home a late winner. Sami Hyypia is still injured but Fabio Aurelio should line up at left-back.
In Chelsea, Didier Drogba and Jose Bosingwa are in doubt. Both are injured. Ricardo Carvalho returned from the international break worse for wear, but he is expected to play in Anfield tonight. Joe Cole and Paulo Ferreira are out, while Nicolas Anelka, Ashley Cole and John Terry are all one ban away from a booking.
Prediction
Liverpool are unbeaten at home to Chelsea in the CL. I will definitely back Liverpool if the odds is not too low for Liverpool to win. In this case, I will prefer taking the total goals Under.
My prediction: UNDER 2 @ BetUs
